Flagging up a ‘prediction market’
Many EAs are interested in prediction markets.
I wanted to flag up the existence of https://smarkets.com/
This is a UK-focussed betting exchange, a bit like Betfair.
It carries quite a range of different markets, many of which are related to politics/current affairs: https://smarkets.com/politics
I get the sense that some of the markets on there are kind of similar to what prediction-market-minded EAs are interested in?
They are quite responsive—you can tweet at them with suggestions for new markets to be added, and sometimes they will add them.
I just wanted to flag this up, for information, as I get the sense that some people who are ‘into’ prediction markets, may not know about this.
