The Life You Can Save (TLYCS) is a nonprofit organization that encourages individuals to donate 1% of their income to effective charities. TLYCS was founded by Peter Singer, following the release of his book, The Life You Can Save: Acting Now to End World Poverty.
Impact
In 2021, TLYCS moved nearly $22.7 million to their recommended charities, either through the website’s donation platform or as a direct result of their outreach activities.[1]
