“Serious reform” hides a lot of important details and disagreements among the reformers. Communists and alt-right folks both dislike mainstream American politicians, but this doesn’t necessarily mean they have substantive agreements on how American politics can be improved.

Yeah, it is vague. My understanding of debate motions is that you want them to leave them broad and open to interpretation vs very narrowly specified.
I would debate this but I imagine we can do better than me.
