[Question] Will the coronavirus pandemic advance or hinder the spread of longtermist-style values/​thinking?

Note that this is not wondering whether the pandemic is “a good thing” overall, and not dismissing how much damage it will cause.

I was prompted to create this question by seeing Linch’s related question “Should recent events make us more or less concerned about biorisk?”, and I think there’d be overlap in the lines of argument and evidence that would inform answers to each question.
