Formerly the research fellowship side of the Cambridge Existential Risks Initiative, the Existential Risk Alliance (ERA) is a network of academics and students, mostly based at the University of Cambridge, focused on existential risk reduction.
ERA’s primary project, the ERA Fellowship, provides aspiring researchers with an in-person, paid, 8-week summer research fellowship experience in Cambridge.
Funding
As of December 2023, ERA has received approximately $1,750,000 in funding from Open Philanthropy.[1]
