Future Fund

TagLast edit: 21 Jun 2023 9:39 UTC by Amber Dawn

The FTX Future Fund was a philanthropic fund created by the FTX Foundation.[1] Its scope was to fund projects that aimed to improve humanity’s long-term prospects. The fund was launched in February 2022 and shut down in November 2022 when FTX collapsed.[2]

The Future Fund was run by Nick Beckstead, Leopold Aschenbrenner, Avital Balwit, William MacAskill and Ketan Ramakrishnan. During its existence, the Future Fund made grants worth around $100 million.[3]
